Now, You Can Simply Scarf Up the Cup After Finishing Your Coffee at KFC
KFC will roll out a first of its kind cups soon on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The cup looks like a traditional coffee cup, but here’s the catch – it’s made out of cookie dough!
At some selected KFC restaurants in UK, the company will serve coffee which is fashioned out of a cookie wrapped in edible sugar paper. It is protected with a layer of white chocolate which absorbs the heat, thus keeping the cookie crispy and the coffee hot. While sipping, the chocolate lining keeps on melting, making the coffee taste sweeter and softens the cookie while inside the mouth. Once the coffee is done with, the cup can simply be eaten like any other cookie. The cups were designed by experimental food experts, The Robin Collective, who also infused mood-improving scents like coconut sun cream, freshly cut grass and wildflowers.
Dubbed as the ‘Scoff-ee Cup’, KFC is now developing a range of edible cups for its UK outlets. Nothing has been yet disclosed about the arrival of the cups in India.
