King of Burgers Comes to Connaught Place

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Burger King. Its first outlet in India opened up at Select Citywalk, New Delhi on 9th November. It was announced that the American fast-food chain had plans to open 12 outlets in India over the course of two-three months, six each in Delhi and Mumbai.  Keeping their word, the next outlets opened up soon in Oberoi Mall and Phoenix Marketcity in Mumbai.

Now they’ve set up shop in the heart of the capital, none other than Connaught Place. For the ones craving the Whopper, connectivity shouldn’t be an issue as the city’s busiest metro station is also located there.

Burger King India, which has opted to drop beef and pork from its menu in order to respect the religious practices of the Hindus and Muslims that make up most of the country’s population, will be offering Chicken Whopper, Vegetable Whopper and Mutton Whopper.
